A popular early morning fundraiser for the United Way is underway today at the Ramada Hotel.听
The bi-annual Maxine DeHart United Way Drive-thru Breakfast takes place from 6-9 a.m. For a donation, people can receive a breakfast bag with treats, coupons, and the chance to win various prizes.听
Over the past 22 years, the event has raised more than $1 million. The last time it was held, in 2022, it raised more than $50,000.
DeHart is a four-term city councillor.听
