Juliette Sicotte has been acclaimed as the Liberal candidate for Okanagan Lake West鈥擲outh sa国际传媒 in the next federal election under Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Driven by a commitment to protect Canadasa国际传媒 economy and sovereignty, Sicotte is determined to be a strong voice for her community in Ottawa.

鈥淎t a time when Canada faces complex challenges, we need leadership focused on solutions, not division. By reducing trade barriers between provinces, we can boost economic activity鈥攈elping local wineries, farmers, and small businesses in Okanagan Lake West鈥擲outh sa国际传媒 reach new markets across the country,鈥 said Sicotte in a press release.

By increasing domestic trade at home, the region can become less dependent on unpredictable external trade agreements. Her priorities also include supporting sustainable infrastructure for agriculture and housing and making life more affordable for families.

Sicotte has lived in the Okanagan for 30 years. With a career spanning fine art and sculpture sales, fashion, and industrial technology, she has also been a dedicated community advocate.

She co-founded and led 鈥淭oastmasters for Teens,鈥 a public speaking and leadership program for Indigenous students, later adopted by School District 23 for those applying to the sa国际传媒 Art Gallery Docent Program.

She volunteers with Jewels of Hope and GEMS for GEMS, supporting marginalized women and survivors of domestic abuse. As a Director at The Bridge Youth & Family Services, she advocates for youth, families, and addiction recovery.

She served on the board of the Central Okanagan Indian Friendship Society (now Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society) and is a proud member of Advocacy Canada, working to amplify 2SLGBTQIA+ voices for positive change.
