100 Women Who Care sa国际传媒 is proud to reflect on an outstanding year of giving in 2024. With four successful events and growing membership, the organization continues to make a significant impact on local charities, reinforcing its mission of collective philanthropy.
In 2024, 100 Women Who Care sa国际传媒 welcomed 175 new members, further strengthening its community of passionate, giving women. The largest meeting of the year hosted 104 in-person attendees, and together, the group donated an incredible $40,507 to local charities throughout 2024 including an extra Christmas donation of $4,000 to the Okanagan Humane Society, supporting their vital work for animals in need.
The first gathering of 2025 was a resounding success, thanks to the generous hospitality of Pretty Not Bad. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from Gems for Gems sa国际传媒 about their Hopesa国际传媒 Cradle infant safe surrender site and from Creatorsa国际传媒 Arts Centre about their scholarship programs for young dancers.
The winning charity was Central Okanagan Search and Rescue, which will use the donated funds to support the training of nine new female ground search and rescue professionals, expanding their life-saving efforts in the community.
鈥淭his is the highest number of female recruits we have ever accepted, and they join so many more amazing women in SAR,鈥 said Adriane Peak, Community Relations Director of COSAR.
100 Women Who Care sa国际传媒 is excited to announce that the next gathering will take place on May 27 at Dunnenzies Mission location. Attendees will have the opportunity to come together under the gorgeous garden oak for another evening dedicated to making a difference.
