The rivalry between the Westshore Rebels and Okanagan Sun won鈥檛 stop heating up as the two teams are set to meet in the British Columbia Football
Conference Championship game for the third time in as many years.

The Sun played a perfect regular season with a record of 10-0, and will host the Rebels who were 5-5.

鈥淚n the previous two meetings this season, the Sun engineered a stunning come-from-behind 33-30 win over the Rebels on the Island August 10, and on September 21 at the Apple Bowl the Sun defeated the Rebels 24-10,鈥 according to a release from the Sun.

鈥淭he Sun and Rebels first BCFC final match-up was 2022 when the Sun easily defeated the Rebels 38-0 at home and went on to a 14-0 undefeated year, capturing the CJFL National Championship.

鈥淟ast season had the Sun travelling to the Island for the Cullen Cup where the Rebels found revenge in a 33-19 win and a trip to the National Final.鈥

The championship game begins at 3 p.m. today, Oct. 19, at the Apple Bowl Stadium. Theresa国际传媒 a ticket booth on site for anybody interested in attending.
Children 12 and under are admitted free.

The winning team gets to hoist the Cullen Cup, and then advances to the Western Final in either Saskatoon or Regina, Saskatchewan on Oct. 27.
