It was the final home game of the season for the Rockets, who miss the playoffs but will receive an automatic entry to the Memorial Cup in 2026 as the host entry.

Jordan Keller, Oren Shtrom and Bryce Minten replied for the Blazers.
Between the pipes, Jake Pilon made 31 saves for the Rockets. Dylan Ernst stopped 30 shots in 58:16 of playing time as the Blazers pulled their goalie for an extra attacker.
The Rockets have one final game to play, Sunday in Vancouver against the Giants beginning at 4 p.m.
In league news it was announced on Hockey Night in Canada Saturday that the Penticton Vees will be joining the WHL next season. A press conference in Penticton is anticipated for early next week.
