The first artists have been announced for this yearsa国际传媒 Rock The Lake music festival in the Prospera Place parking lot.听
Simple Plan, The Sheepdogs, Sam Roberts Band, and Down With Webster, all Canadian musicians, will perform at the popular event.
“This year’s festival will build on the momentum of past successes, bringing a fresh and younger line-up of Canadian rock bands to sa国际传媒,” Marlon Weidlich, senior director of event operations at GSL Group, said in a Tuesday release.
“We’re thrilled to offer music fans an unforgettable weekend filled with live music, community, and that signature Okanagan summer atmosphere that Rock The Lake is known for.”
Additional artists who’ll perform at the festival will be announced in coming weeks.

For the first time, Rock The Lake will also feature two local bands, CrushXO and Lucky Monkey, who won a recent Battle of the Bands competition.
