People who attend events at Prospera Place give the facility high marks, the arena operator says.听
The average overall experience was rated as 8.6 out of 10, according to people who filled out surveys as they attended concerts, hockey games, and special events like the Montanasa国际传媒 Brier.听
As well, people rated the likelihood of their returning to Prospera Place for a future event at 8.8 out of 10.听
More than 135,000 people attended events at the downtown arena between January and the end of March, facility owner-operator GSL Group says.听

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the opening of Prospera Place. Under the terms of a 30-year contract struck between the city and GSL Group in the late 鈥90s, ownership of the facility will transfer to the municipality in 2029.
It isn鈥檛 yet known how the 6,500-seat facility will be operated after that time. The city will听accept management bids from other companies with experience managing similar facilities. For its part, GSL Group has expressed an interest in continuing to operate the building through a new lease.听
The city will spend $5.1 million in the next few months upgrading some aspects of the building, with plans for a new centre-ice digital scoreclock, a better sound system, an Internet/Wifi system, electric Zambonis, and better provisions for media.听
A stadium consultancy's report commissioned a few years ago said the building was in generally good shape but recommended significant capital improvements, such as a new roof, HVAC system, and enhanced concessions.听
